Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to what people ask us most about relocating to Central Florida.

Do I have to work with Brian as my agent to book Your Next Chapter Discovery Stay?

No. The stay is about seeing whether this life fits you, and you can spend the whole week at the squares without ever looking at a house. Brian is a licensed Florida agent, so if you do want to tour homes while you’re here, you already have one — but nothing about the stay requires it.

What exactly is Your Next Chapter Discovery Stay?

It’s a hosted visit. You stay in one of our furnished rental homes with a golf cart, we can arrange airport transportation, Brian comes by to get you settled and gives you a real orientation to the area, and he’s ten minutes away all week. The homes are booked on our own rental site, TheVillagesAccess.com.

Whose homes are these?

They’re our own rental homes, booked on our own rental site, TheVillagesAccess.com. Brian owns and maintains each one, along with the golf cart that comes with it — so you’re not booking a stranger’s listing, and you’re not staying in anybody’s house. During a Discovery Stay, anything that comes up goes straight to Brian rather than a management company in another state, and apart from the airport driver he’s the only person you’ll deal with all week.

What if Brian is in Wisconsin when I want to visit?

Brian splits his year between Florida and Wisconsin — the same move a lot of our clients are making. We only book Your Next Chapter Discovery Stays for dates when he’s here in Florida, because the welcome, the orientation, and walking through homes together are the whole point, and none of that works over the phone. If your timing doesn’t line up, the homes are still available to book on their own at TheVillagesAccess.com, with a local service we trust looking after anything you need and reporting back to Brian. Then we can plan a proper Discovery Stay for when he’s back.

Why start with a visit instead of listing my home?

Because the biggest question is whether the lifestyle fits — and that’s hard to answer from photos. Experiencing it first means that when you do sell up north, you’re moving toward something you’re sure about.

How can you help me in both Wisconsin and Florida?

Kellyn is a licensed Keller Williams agent in Wisconsin and Brian is a licensed LPT Realty agent in Florida. Together we cover both ends of your move as one team, so nothing falls through the cracks between selling and buying.

Do you only work with seniors?

Seniors relocating from Wisconsin are our specialty, but we’re glad to help buyers, sellers, and investors of any age. If you’re thinking about Central Florida, we’d love to talk.

What does the relocation help include?

Through our trusted vendor network we can help coordinate movers, decluttering, junk haul-away, and downsizing — on top of the buying and selling itself. We’ll help line up the pieces so you’re not vetting strangers on your own.

Is this only for The Villages?

The Villages® is our home base, but we also help clients explore the welcoming communities all around it so you can find the right fit and budget.

Are you affiliated with The Villages®?

No. Your Next Chapter Florida and The Villages Access are completely independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Villages®, its developer, or its in-house sales organization. We reference the community only to describe the area and lifestyle.

How do we get started?

The easiest first step is a free, no-pressure call. We’ll learn what you’re hoping for and map out what your move could look like. Book a time that works for you or send us a note.
